Video footage from the "Late Night Acid Jam w/Rich."

Finally cut up some footage from the "Late Night Acid Jam Session with Rich." This is a rough edit of 6 minutes of jam time with some eye candy thrown in.  As his was a last minute ordeal, we just used my Camera for both Audio and Video.  So room noise, Levels are off, mistakes are made, etc. so please watch your speakers and ears!

Pump Up The Jam (Dharmatronix Remix)

Pump Up The Jam (Dharmatronix Remix)

I recently needed a creative break from my usual music routine, and thus decided to do a fun remix/mashup that is (way) more pop oriented than my usual stuff.  I wanted to keep it simple as well, just like the original, so hopefully this gets your booty on the floor tonight :)

ARPIE DIY MIDI Arpeggiator Kit

  • Chord hold mode: on/off

  • MIDI note velocity: 0-127 in 16 increments
  • MIDI note gate length: 15 increments up to one step length plus tied-note mode

  • Performance possible without attached MIDI controller by selecting CMaj/CMin/C7/Cmaj7/Cmin7/Random chord insert and using transpose features to change to noother root note
  • Minimal, but easy-to-use control surface is based on 16 data LEDS, 16 data buttons, 13 command buttons
  • Three standard 5-pin DIN sockets for MIDI IN, MIDI OUT, SYNC IN
  • Receive, Transmit, Beat Clock and Chord Hold LEDs on control surface, plus firmware diagnostic/power LEDs on main board.
  • Integral 9V PP3 battery holder and 9V DC socket (centre positive 2.1mm barrel)

Freaky Deakies Need Love Too...(Max For Live Cell DNA Test)

Freaky Deakies Need Love Too...

New track and video up testing out Cell DNA with Max For Live Plugins. I just  used some footage that I have archived over the past couple of months, and warped it in Cell DNA utilizing Max plugins in Live.

Hope you dig it, and thanks for checking it out!

Another down tempo track with percussion courtesy of the 626, this is kind of blend of IDM I used to make back in the day (all software or digital synthesis) with the analog jams I have been doing recently (w/Analog Hardware),  I think I am on to something groovy, but we will see.....

As usual, I welcome your thoughts and comments, and thanks for checking it out!

DD1-Analog Jam

Another Analog Jam session with the 606, this time with a Korg DD1 in place of the TR-505.  Just testing out the DD1 really (got a killer deal on eBay) as it just arrived yesterday. Otherwise, mostly the same deal as last time:

The MFOS Synth Lab Mini was triggered via the 606's HT trigger out, 606's headphone out as FX Send to a Recovery Effect Bad Comrade Pedal. I started the 606 and just punched in Ableton.

This bounce is raw/unmixed, but I like the feel and figured I would post it up as is for now. .

Would love to hear your thoughts and comments, thanks for checking it out, and please feel free to share!

Analog Jam w/606 as Master Clock

For the first time (yup, digital baby) I recorded a Jam session without using Midi Clock as the master tempo! Instead I used a 606 as the master clock, which drove a modded Monotribe via it's LT trigger out.  The MT passed midi clock to the TR-505 and Casio SK1, which were cross modulated via their respective patchbays. The MFOS Synth Lab Mini was triggered via the 606's HT trigger out, and I used the 606's headphone output to feed a Space Baby Delay. I started the 606 and just punched in Ableton.

This bounce is the jam so it is raw/unmixed, but I like the feel and figured I would post it up as is for now.  As I always prefer to have a bit of eye candy with my tunes, I made a quick video utilizing footage I shot during the actual recording session.

Would love to hear your thoughts and comments, thanks for checking it out, and please feel free to share!

Dharmatronix-Bleeps in Time

Bleeps in Time -   Finally made it on to iTunes/Amazon, etc.  As the Digital Stores set the pricing  it's a bit higher than I would have liked, but one can also download the album on Bandcamp for Free/Pay-What-You Want-Model as well!

You can also catch all the videos on Youtube:
